Best Entry Level DSLR – Newcomer DSLR Camera Reviews

If you have an interest in photography and wish to get into DSLR photography then there's never been a better time to do so. There are several DSLR cameras out on the market now that are designed not to overmaster the user, today I will be talking about these cameras so you can make an educated decision on which camera you want to purchase.

Canon EOS Rebel XS

The Canon Rebel XS is perhaps the most common entry-level DSLR camera just because it is a good little camera that is user-friendly and it is also affordable. I love this camera and owned one when I was finding out about photography.

The Rebel XS has some fantastic features and produces excellent quality pictures, the sole bad point that I'd say about the Rebel XS is that the ISO range occasionally left me needing and requiring more, however this was only a little problem and for every day shooting this isn't a problem.

Canon Rebel EOS T1i

This is the larger sister to the Rebel XS and often it costs about $100 more. However for that extra $100 you get a better camera in many departments.

Image-quality is still wonderful as you would expect from a widely known camera manufacturer such as canon.

The EOS Rebel T1i has a stronger ISO range 100-3200 and may also record in high definition video which is a nice feature if you have an interest in recording home flicks without the necessity for an extra camcorder.

Other Cameras

There are more cameras from other manufacturers appropriate for beginner photographers, however I have used and tested the previous cameras when I was beginning in photography and they helped me progress as a cameraman considerably therefore I highly recommend them to you. If I had to offer a third option I would look at this Sony A35 review.

Major Advantages of DSLR Cameras Over Digital Compact Cameras

Single-lens reflex cameras used to be the prized possession of professional and semi-professional photographers. Nowadays, digital SLR cameras are within the reach of most patrons and are a worthy choice, much better than smaller compact models. Here are some of the benefits of DSLR cameras over compact digital cameras.

Shutter Speed

If you've ever missed a memorable moment because your compact camera took half a minute to focus and another five seconds to really take the picture, you are going to like DSLR cameras. With a DSLR you point, select the right focus and click: the picture is taken right away because it does not have an electronically activated sensor, but simply a shutter that opens and permits the light into the sensor, taking the picture right away. No delays, even if you have auto-adjust on, means no more missed special moments.

Versatility

One of the largest advantages of DSLR cameras are the lenses similar to the ones in this Sony A65 review. You can use a different lens for differing kinds of photography, from long distance zooms to macro-photography or wide-angle lenses to take incredible wide ranging pictures of landscapes. As your talent develops you are going to be able to buy lenses that allow you to use advanced photography techniques to take professional level footage.

Full Control

With a DSLR camera you are in charge. Unlike compact cameras, a DSLR doesn't decide whether your shutter speed is too high or too low, or sets focus mechanically on the incorrect thing. Every digital SLR camera has some sort of steered or auto-mode though, so even if you are just starting you can take great pictures. But after you find out how to make special effects by changing any of the many options you can never go back to auto. For example, you need to use long shutter times to paint with light, creating incredible pictures way beyond what a compact camera can do, easily.

Great Low Light Exposures

A element called ISO available on digital SLR makes the sensor more susceptible to light, and allows you to take great pictures even on low-light environments without flash. If you want to take photos at sunset or dawn you'll adore this setting, as flash just does not work well for landscapes. While higher attuned to light also suggests the pictures become grainier, the results from a DSLR camera are commonly better than those of the few compact ones that allow you to alter this setting.

If this tract has induced you to give DSLR cameras a try see all the reviews at http://dslrcamerareviews.co/ and Sony A35, as they describe good beginner models packed with benefits at cheap bundle prices.

Nikon Coolpix S9100 Review

Nikon Coolpix S9100 Review

For the complete Nikon Coolpix S9100 review, go to www.infosyncworld.com Not much has changed since our visit last Fall with the Coolpix S8100, and that's because Nikon's follow-up to the S8000 was a significant improvement. It's now edging along the crest of Spring and the Nikon Coolpix S9100 has already been unleashed to replace the S8100, which still seems wet behind the ears. Why is this? Canon didn't follow up with a PowerShot SD4500 IS replacement yet. Further perplexing is the fact that Nikon really didn't improve upon much with the Coolpix S9100, save a larger zoom, minor design tweaks, image effects, and some handy additional continuous shooting modes. The sensor, controls, interface, and form factor have all remained unmolested, so what gives? In our eyes, the new Nikon Coolpix S9100 will suit those who wanted a faster camera with a larger zoom out of the Coolpix S8100. Is the S9100 worth the extra 30 bucks over the S8100? Let's dust off the magnifying glass, gumshoes.

Nikon D3100 Preview

www.FroKnowsPhoto.com It is a huge day for Nikon Shooters and future DSLR camera owners. The announcement of the D3100 is a sign of things to come from Nikon. This will usher in a whole new crop (no pun intended) of sensors that should produce better quality photos and video. The D3100 will most likely be the first camera out of the gate with a D90 D300s and D700 replacements to follow. Let's look at the main features I am most interested in in the new D3100. The new CMOS sensor is a step forward over the CCD of the D3000. It should produce much better still images at all the different ISO settings. Keep in mind, higher ISO is in no way a replacement for using faster glass (F1.4,1.8 and 2.8 lenses) The new sensor also gives the D3100 the capability of recording full HD 1080 video at 24 frames a second. At lower quality settings you have the option to change the frame rate. The coolest most exciting addition for me is the ability to have continuous Autofocus during video recording. This means you will have an easier time when zooming and tracking a subject to hopefully get your focus right. A side note is that your internal microphone will pick up the sound of the focus motors when recording video. I feel that this will be a very very solid camera for capturing still images. The new sensor will certainly make this a better camera in higher ISO's. I do have a few concerns about this camera and they mostly fall on the video side of things. In my research so far I can not ...
